What is the new Samsung Galaxy S5? October 04 2015, 0 Comments
The most anticipated Android phone of the year is the Samsung Galaxy S5. It has faced rivals, but yet there is no other android phone that has managed to summon quite as much excitement as this one has.
The new phone has plenty of upgrades as compared to its predecessor the Galaxy S4, which includes a much-improved screen, wholly redesigned software and a little bit better cameras. However, there are still some parts that need perfection. We are not in true love with the design, the new heart rate sensor seems to be a bit pointless for many users and the fingerprint scanner is fiddly.
Well to know the core specs before we dig any deeper here is the short and sweet information. The Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch with 1080p Super AMOLED screen; this is up by 0.1 inches as compared to last year. It has a 2.5GHz quad-core and a Snapdragon 801 processor and consist of a 16-megapixel camera which comes with an all-new Samsung-made sensor.
I agree that they sound like just slight upgrades from an earlier version, but you will have to agree that these small step-ups are what you are going to see in the rivals to, thus they count a lot in making galaxy S5 run up the charts. If you can do with the lesser styling and the frailty that the Samsung Touch Wiz interface comes with, then S5 is a great phone for you.
If you love your Samsung phones then there is not much we can do about anything!!! Go grab it!!

Samsung Galaxy S5: Design
The company for sure has worked towards making Galaxy S5 to look quite different from S4; a major change is in the dimpled backside, as opposed to S4's glossy back.
The back side is, however, made of plastic saving on the cost, but that saving is not for you!!
Even the sides come with a metallic look like of plastic and yes the onlookers are in for a surprise as they might take it as actual metal; you get to know when you feel it in your hand. The look however is not a great improvement as compared to S4. The much talked about fingerprint scanner is an interesting feature of the phone. It is featured similar to the iPhone but works much less in comparison. It can be used at max by three people as you can teach your phone to be compatible with up to three people
A new element to the phone is the heart rate sensor; it is an added sensor at the back of the phone near the LED flash area. It is a good option for measuring your heart rate, which is a general and first hand fitness level indicator, but it cannot be used to as a final indicator.
